Delivery & Returns

 

DELIVERY

 

 

UK 'Royal Mail Signed For': Usually 3 - 5 working days £4.95

'International Signed For': Usually 7 - 12 working days £18

(UK 3 - 5 working days for delivery after the dispatch date - usually dispatched within 48 hours) As an independent

boutique we state up to 5 working days for UK delivery, however we'll always try our best to minimise this time

frame where possible, until it's in the postal system and out of our control.

 

Her Ego processes orders on working days Mon - Fri. If an order is placed on a weekend, your order will be handled on the

next working day. We are unable to guarantee specific delivery dates as all deliveries are subject to the service provided

from Royal Mail and its affiliates. With this in mind and in an unlikely event, please allow a maximum of up to 8

working days for delivery within Mainland UK and 14 working days for Non-Mainland UK. 

 

In some cases, where the Royal Mail has been unable to secure a signature on delivery, the order will be taken to a postal

office. If the customer does not collect the order, or arrange a redelivery with the Royal Mail, the order will  usually

be  returned to Her Ego. We will resend the order to the customer, at the customer's expense for the postage.

 

We cannot be held accountable for delays OR CHARGES in customs clearance.

RETURNS

All SALE items can be returned for an exchange only - no refunds will be issued. Once any tags are removed

from full price or sale items, we will not accept any returns unless the item is faulty.

 

You can return all other items within 14 days of receipt for a refund of that item(s). (14 days from delivery

date for Mainland UK, Non-Mainland UK & International Orders). Note - the value of refund  will exclude shipping costs. Cost of return

postage is at the returners expense. Please email us for The return address.

 

Her Ego will not accept returns for items returned outside of the 14 days return period, or any items that have been worn,  marked 

with stains, damage or odour, nor if the Her Ego tag has been removed, unless the items are faulty. The item must be returned to us in 

its original packaging with the order/dispatch note enclosed and returns documentation completed. Her Ego's decision will

always be final on the condition of items if we have reasons to believe they have been worn. 

 

After three months, we retain the right to refuse the return of faulty goods. 

 

 

HOW TO RETURN

1. We hope to provide the best possible service and goods, however, if you decide to return your order with Her Ego, you must let us 

know before by sending an email to customercare@her-ego.com stating your reason for return, quote the order number & the 

names of the items you are returning, all of which you can find on the order/dispatch note your goods were sent with. Please

also fill out your returns note and pop it back in the package along with the order/dispatch note.

 

2. In all cases, the items returned must be in their original condition. All goods will be inspected on return (in the unlikely event

that an item is returned to us in an unsuitable condition, we reserve the right to send it back to you, in which case a refund will

not be processed.) The goods are your responsibility until it reaches us. For your own protection, we recommend that you send the

parcel using a delivery service that insures you for the value of the goods, and retain your receipt as proof of postage. Items lost

in the postal system are not Her Ego's responsibility.

 

3. Once your returned items have arrived back, and have been checked over, you will be notified with a returns confirmation email 

informing you that your items have been received safely.

 


 

NOT RECEIVED A RETURNS CONFIRMATION EMAIL (AFTER 28 DAYS)?

 

 

It is unlikely to not receive a returns confirmation email once items have been received back at Her Ego, but if this occurs and it

is in fact past the 28 days after returning your items to us, then please contact us at customercare@her-ego.com and we

will get back to you as soon as possible. Be sure to include your order number, items returned and attach a scanned image

of your proof of postage receipt. 

 

 

REFUND PROCESSING

 

 

After receiving the goods back, 14 working days is usually the time frame for processing refunds by Her Ego,

however we ask to please wait the full 28 days before contacting. As after refunds have been processed 

by Her Ego, refund times are dictated by the card issuers and are outside of our control. 

 

Refunds will be credited to your original method of payment.


IMPORTANT INFORMATION ON RETURNS

 

In some cases, where the Royal Mail has been unable to secure a signature on delivery, the order will be taken to a postal office.

If the customer does not collect the order, or arrange a redelivery with the Royal Mail, the order will usually be  returned

to Her Ego. We will resend the order to the customer, at the customer's expense. The 14 days returns policy will apply

to the date that initial delivery was made, not the date of re-delivery. 

 

We cannot be held accountable for delays OR CHARGES in customs clearance.

 


EXCHANGES

 

 

You have 14 days of receipt to exchange.

 

Please complete your returns note that came in your parcel, ticking that you would like an exchange. You must please also email 

customercare@her-ego.com quoting your name, order number, and address. Then state which items you are returning for

an exchange, and which new item you would like in the exchange.

 

The return address can be found on your returns note. Post the item back to Her Ego in it's original condition and packaging,

including your completed returns note and your order/dispatch note inside. Return postage is at the customers expense. Please 

remember to buy postage that insures the value of your goods and get a receipt as proof of postage as when items are

in the post, they are no longer Her Ego's responsibility. Re-delivery of the new item will be free of charge.

 

Once the original goods are received back to Her Ego safely, we will dispatch your new exchange item shortly after.
